“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). Did God really mean that?

In the early 1930s a lumberyard worker named Dawson Trotman took God at His word. He led men into the Southern California mountains for a 42-day extended “prayer meeting,” interceding for their city, state, nation, and the world. Dawson recalled later: “God answered our prayers abundantly, and there was the beginning of our work called today by the name, Navigators.”

Its in this same spirit—rallying around Jeremiah 33:3—that Pray Every Day invites us to take God at His word and be intentional about prayer. Pray Every Day is an extended prayer meeting led by present-day representative of The Navigators and author of “The Pray! Prayer Journal" (Tyndale), Dean Ridings.
